A Valentines dessert that's healthy for the heart

What a perfect dessert! Not only is this delicious, but very good for you too. Don't be afraid... Try it!

What you'll need for this recipe: * 2 ripe  medium to small avocados  * 1/2 cup raw cocoa powder  * 5/8 cup raw agave nectar  (1/2 cup+ 1/8 cup) * pinch of salt * 1/2 tablespoon pure vanilla extract 

Depending on how big your Avocados are you might have to add or subtract ingredients to taste.

Put all of the ingredients into a blender (vitamix) and mix until creamy. You can refrigerate it for up to 4 days in a sealed container, or eat it right away. Best if left to cool in the fridge for 30 min. before eating. Also makes a delicious frosting!

Did you know :  *Avocados contain healthy fats that can reduce bad cholesterol in your blood and can lower the risk of stroke. This fruit is filled with protein , vitamins and minerals. 

*Cocoa has been shown to decrease blood pressure, improve blood vessel health and improve cholesterol levels.

*Agave, as compared to other sweeteners, has a desirable low-glycemic index. Meaning, it won't cause a sharp rise or fall in blood sugar levels.
