A few years ago my husband and I renovated our hall way. We decided we wanted a place to hang our coats and backpacks instead of a closet, but we couldn't find hanging knobs that we liked. We ended up looking in the "drawer hardware isle" at Home Depot. Lo and behold, we found some drawer knobs that were perfect for our hallway project. We turned them upwards , and now they are coat hanger knobby thingies. What's nice about these is that they don't stick out and poke you as you walk by, yet they are long enough to do the job. If this isn't your style, you can use glass pulls or even decorated knobs. The moral of the story? Think outside the box! -Kissa
