Sometimes there is nothing better than just finding a little craft that doesn't cost you a dime. Collect a few toilet paper rolls (or a paper towel rolls), a marker, and you're all set. My youngest daughter and I had fun hanging out and making these little paper roll people.
I would have pulled a string through these, taped it to the inside, and hung it up in my daughter's bedroom. No such luck, she wouldn't allow it! Instead, we simply displayed them on a one of her shelves. You can dress these up a little by adding some color to the charachters with some markers. You could also glue some yarn on their heads for hair. Sticking on some buttons could also be fun! -Kissa
